Israel Oliveras was born on July 20, 1993 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is currently an undergraduate student in Industrial Design at the School of Plastic Arts of Puerto Rico. At the age of 14, he was already working as a freelance graphic designer, illustrating comic strips and designing magazines and books for children. Several years later, he worked for América TeVé (Channel 41), an independent television station. He has always been available for independent clients and businesses.
His main calling, to create digital caricatures, led him to offer his design services since 2013 under the name "Caricaturas Online por Israel Oliveras”. He has designed caricatures for international customers from Brazil, Costa Rica, United States, Spain and Rumania. The work he created for this latter country was published on the cover of a 2013 edition of “Atitudini”, a magazine from the I.L. Caragiale House of Culture in Ploiesti, Rumania. Besides the work he produces, he also creates caricatures inspired by famous personalities, mainly from movies, music, history, mythology or any other specific area of study. Because his caricatures go hand in hand with portraits, he aspires to work collaboratively with photographers and caricaturists, offering his full services to several establishments.
